Ways to Unwind Yourself at Whistler

What’s more relaxing than doing nothing at all? Heading to Whistler’s beautiful lakes and relaxing on a dock or the shore. Spending time to admire the scenery is definitely rejuvenating. It allows you to truly plunge into vacation mode.  If the weather’s nice you can literally cool off in the glacial waters. Top it off with a yoga class for a perfect day.

In addition to being a famous ski destination, Whistler, Canada offers vacationers a choice of great activities, unique museum, and restaurants. The best thing to do in Whistler Canada for adventure enthusiasts includes ziplining and mountain biking. Zooming down the world’s fastest ice tracks and eco-tours. Great things about Whistler are that there’s so much to do. Especially if you go to the Children’s festival which happens every July.

Surrounding the village the rugged region is a mix of untamed rivers, real-blue lakes, unending forests, and volcanic peaks. Only one main Highway 99 also known as the sea to sky Highway connects the area’s attractions and communities. This scenic drive is one of Canada’s most spectacular road trips.

Scandinavia at Whistler’s favorite spas

Relax with a taste of Scandinavia at Whistler’s favorite spas. Spend the day wrapped in a robe, soaking in luxurious outdoor baths and plunging into ice-cold pools. Enjoy a peaceful atmosphere in the village, nestled in the rustic nature of the spa.

Christmas in Whistler is the ultimate festive winter destination. Christmas is celebrated with thousands of twinkling lights and sparkling decorations in the village along with skiing, snowboarding with Santa on the mountain and a host of holiday events and fun winter activities all month along.

Meander mindlessly:

Nature is pretty relaxing. Step outside the hustle and bustle of the village and take a walk to enjoy the surroundings. Hike the Whistler Valley Trail by foot or bike.

No matter the season, après is always the way to unwind. Head to a patio in the sunnier months or tuck away in a cozy restaurant when the temperature dips for an afternoon of imbibing. In both the village and creek dale, you’ll find a ton of places to refresh yourself; whether you’re feeling fancy or are looking for a lower key vibe, whistler delivers when it comes to taking a load at the end of the day.

Peak 2 Peak Gondola:

Whistler is really all about those crazy, enormous, awesome mountains. There are hiking trails and don’t miss riding the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. The only way to see the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains than from the Peak 2 Peak Gondola is to fly like a bird. The three cabled gondola connects the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain along with the rendezvous restaurant at Blackcomb Mountain.

There’s a tremendous amount of accommodation options at Whistler from high-end joints to more affordable places like the Delta Suites. I am staying at the Hilton Whistler Resort and spa, which is a perfect family with its outdoor pool and prime location in the heart in the Village. Book one of the large suites with a kitchen to save on restaurant bills or can also dig the massive buffet breakfast at the on-site cinnamon Bear Grill.

Unwind yourself at Whistler to enjoy the pleasure.
