2. Eravikulam National Park
Home and sanctuary of the exotic Nilgiri Tahr, Eravikulam National Park is one of the best national parks in Munnar that lets you enjoy its unique beauty and witness the myriad colors of nature in the Western Ghats. Spread over an area of 97 square kilometres, the park is home to a vast array of flora and fauna. Apart from tahr, you can also spot animals like Nilgiri langur, leopard, Indian bison, barking deer, small Indian civet and mongoose. 5. KFDC Floriculture Center
Hidden from the eyes of the world, the Floriculture Center is an ocean of knowledge and a wonderful opportunity to spend time amidst untouched nature. Although it is one of the most unique and unknown parks of Munnar, it is a must visit for everyone as it provides a deep insight into the natural wealth of Kerala. 6. Munnar Rose Garden
Although this is also an unknown park of Munnar, but if you are wandering around it then it will not be difficult to find it. The strong aroma of the variety of fresh fruits, spices, herbs and vegetables growing here attracts people! Spread over an area of 2 acres, this vast area is rich in healthy vegetation of spices like cardamom and vanilla, fruits like litchi, bananas, strawberries, rumbuta and amla and vegetables like cabbage, potatoes, cauliflower and beans. 7. Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary
Located in the rain shadow area on the eastern slopes of the beautiful Western Ghats, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected forest reserve. The park has a diverse ecosystem and is rich in ethno-cultural heritage. It is home to a variety of common as well as rare animal bird and animal species, such as grizzled giant squirrel, star tortoise, tufted gray langur, gaur, spotted deer, slender loris, wild elephant, crocodile, tiger and leopard. 8. Kanan Devan Tea Museum and Gardens
