It is the World’s highest Shiva temple located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It is located at an altitude of 3,690 m. This temple is included in the Panch Kedar yatra circuit of Uttarakhand. The view from here makes it one of the most beautiful places in the region. You can see many peaks surrounding you like Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, etc and you will be amazed by the natural beauty around you. The Chadrashila-Tunganath trek is one of the most famous treks in Uttarakhand which start from Sari village via Deorital lake and Chopta and then Tungnath. And people who wish to climb further can witness the mind-blowing Chandrashila summit.

3) Madhyamaheshwar Temple:
The Madhyamaheshwar Temple is another major attraction in Uttarakhand that should be visited during the holy month of Sawan. Located in the Gaundar village of the Garhwal region, it is one of the oldest temples of Uttarakhand and is still frequented by devotees from all over India. The architecture of this temple is magnificent. This temple also comes under Panch Kedar Yatra circuit. People worship’ the middle part of lord shiva’s body here which has been followed by Pandavas who build this epic temple as per beliefs.

4) Rudranath Temple:
Amongst the Panch Kedar yatra circuit, it is said that here the face of lord shiva has appeared and was worshipped by Pandavas as they built this magnificent temple. This temple can be reached by trekking as well and you will get a golden chance to witness Nanda Ghunti and Trishul mountain peaks. Amongst all the Panch Kedar circuits, it is said that sometimes Rudranath Temple is the toughest one to reach.

5) Kalpeshwar Temple:
Kalpeshwar temple is the easiest to reach amongst all the panch Kedar circuits located in Urgam village of Garhwal region and accessible throughout the year, unlike other Panch Kedar temples. Hence, The temple is one of the most important pilgrimage points in the Garhwal region and attracts a large number of devotees throughout the year. It is said that hair locks lord shiva appeared here. Now the area has been developed and new roads have been constructed that you just need to trek for 300 meters to reach here.
