Not to be confused with the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Taj Mahal Palace was built by the Nawab of Bhopal, Begum Sultan Shahjahan. Earlier its name was “Raj Mahal”, this palace was the residence of the Begum. It has 120 rooms, a fountain called “Sawan Bhadon” and a Sheesh Mahal (Room of Mirrors). Bhimbetka Rock Shelters is an archaeological site in central India and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. The caves are named after the Pandava Bhima of the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata, as Bhimbetka means “sitting area of ​​Bhima.” The first person to discover the caves was archaeologist VS Vavankar in 1957, who later explored the area with his team and reported that there were many other prehistoric rock shelters there.
