Fully Vaccinated Passengers From India Can Travel To The US

US Government has lifted travel restraints allowing fully vaccinated individuals to enter the nation beginning in November. Nevertheless, new guidelines will be put forward following the bubble ban inflicted on foreign travellers from entering the US at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020.

Besides India, nations like United Kingdom, Brazil, China, South Africa, and Iran will be given a pass beginning this November. But, stricter travelling guidelines will be put forward for travellers from these countries.

Providing more information on this process, White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Jeff Zients notified, “Today we’re announcing a new international air travel system. This new system includes strict protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 from passengers flying into the United States, protecting Americans and making international air travel safer. Most importantly, beginning in early November, foreign nationals flying to the United States will be required to be fully vaccinated, and they must show proof of vaccination prior to boarding a US-bound airplane,”

He also added, “It will require for nationals to be vaccinated, to prove they’re vaccinated, and then to go to the testing and contract tracing regimens,” However, he confirmed the travellers who are fully vaccinated shall not be quarantined going forward.

Further Guidelines and Details:

Fully vaccinated tourists and travellers will have to complete pre-flight testing within three days before flying to the United States and provide proof of a negative report. Moreover, any unvaccinated American citizen travelling back to the US are subject to more stringent testing requirements. They will have to test within one day of departure. And will be obliged to test again, post their arrival. Masks are a requisite.
