The mosque has four domes and is built on an elevated platform. It has been renovated many times since its construction and now looks like a beautiful piece of architecture. This place is full of history and has many relics from those times when it was built. It also houses one of the oldest books in India called ‘Kulliyat-e-Jahan Nama’.

Bara Imambara is one of the most famous mosques in India. It is also known as Nizam-e-Adli and is located in Lucknow city. The mosque was built by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula and it was named after him. The architecture of Bara Imambara is very beautiful and it has got a lot of historical importance as well. The mosque is an architectural masterpiece and holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims all around the world.

It is measured to be India’s largest unsupported structure and is reckoned among the most stunning architectural beauty in India. It took 14 years to complete the construction of Bara Imambara The whole building is made of Lakhnawi bricks and lime plaster. And there was no use of wood or metals during the construction of this masterpiece.

5) Hazratbal Shrine, Srinagar:

The Hazratbal Shrine is a famous shrine of the Muslims situated at Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir on the bank of Dal Lake. This mosque is one of the most important mosques in Kashmir and it is visited by thousands of people every year. Hazratbal masjid has one dome and one minaret.

The masjid has a relic named the Moi-e-Muqqadas, which is believed to be Prophet Muhammad’s hair.
